Day 01: Arrive Haridwar

Meeting and assistance upon arrival and transfer to the Hotel. Time permiting Evening visit Arti at Har ki Pauri.

Dinner and Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 02:  Rishikesh/Barkot/ Kharsali (220 kms/8 hrs)  

Morning after breakfast leave for Barkot/Kharsali  via Mussoorie. En route visit Kempty fall if time permits. On arrival check in at the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.

No activities : Acclimatize your mind & body to start a trek next day to Yamunotri.

Dinner and Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 03: Barkot/Kharsali- Excursion to Yamunotri Temple (6 kms trek – one way)

Morning after breakfast at hotel later start your trek to Yamunotri  from Jankichatti (6 kms). You may go with other options like pony, Palki and Doli on direct Payment.

Attractions : Yamuna Maa Temple – the main diety.

: Cooked rice – the pilgrims cook rice in the hot water kund and take it back home

: Surya Kund – the major hotspring which flows from the vicinity of the temple.

: Divya Shila – it’s a rock pillar worshiped before entring the temple.

After taking bath in JamunabaiKund’s warm water and having “Darshan” of pious “Yamunaji” return to Kharsali/Barkot.

Dinner and Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 04: Barkot/Kharsali / Uttarkashi ( 135 kms/ 5hrs)

Morning after breakfast leave for your next destination Uttarkashi. On the way you can stop over for TEA at Radi Top where you can have glimpses of beautiful himalayan ranges and futher explore Shiv Gufa.

1400 hrs : On arrival check in at the Hotel.

1700 hrs : proceed for sight seeing of Uttarkashi

Dinner and Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 05: Uttarkashi / Gangotri/ Uttarkashi  (200 kms/ 9 hrs)

0900 hrs : After late breakfast leave for Gangotri via Harsil .

Attractions : Harsil – On  the way to Gangotri Harsil  which has become  an attractive destination that has become popular among the traveller in a very short period of time.

Apple orchards – Known for its delicious apples orchards harsil apples are popular globally today.

Gangotri Temple – Was constucted by Gorkha General Amar Singh Thapa in the 18th century.

Submerged Shivling – According to mythology lord Shiva sat on this rock when he received GANGA in the matted lock., the rock is only visible during the winters when water level goes down.

1300 hrs : Drive down to Uttarkashi, on arrival check in at the Hotel.

Day 06: Uttarkashi/ Guptkashi (Sitapur) (245 kms/08 hrs)

0700 hrs. After breakfast drive to Guptkashi/ Sitapur.

1700 hrs. On arrival check in at the hotel.

Day 07: Guptkashi/Sitapur (30 Kms) – Sitapur/Sonprayag (3Kms by Company Jeep) – Sonprayag/Gaurikund (5 Kms by local jeep) – Gaurikund/Kedarnath (20 Kms trek /07-08 hrs)

Early morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Sonprayag. From where you will proceed to Gaurikund by Local Jeep and then start your 20 km trek to Kedarnath. You can hire a Doli or a horse, for your trek  from Gaurikund (Cost Not Included). Mandakini, one of the main tributaries of the Ganges originates at Kedarnath and flows through Gaurikund. Trudging with you are pilgrims chanting “Jai Bholenath.” Sometimes the mist would envelop the mountains and slowly lift away, revealing a shiny blinding-white peak that threatens to rupture the skies.  On arrival check in at Govt. Camps/Lodges.

Kedarnath:

Kedarnath Mandir is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is on the Garhwal Himalayan range near the Mandakini river in Kedarnath, Uttarakhand in India.

Lunch and dinner on your own.

Overnight at Govt. Camps/Lodges. (B) (At Guptkashi/Sitapur before departure to Kedarnath)

Day 08: Kedarnath/Gaurikund (20 Kms trek) – Gaurikund/Sonprayag (5 Kms by Local Jeep) – Sonprayag/Sitapur (3 Kms by Company Jeep) – Sitapur/Guptkashi (30 Kms)

Early morning you get up before dawn and after taking bath you are at the temple by 4:45 am for the ‘Abhishek’ to Kedarnath Shiva. Everyone can go inside Garbha Griha and touch the idol. You can also prostrate with your head touching the deity etc. After darshan and puja you come out of the temple and return to the Camps / Lodges. Later you’ll start the return trek of 20 km from Kedarnath to Gaurikund and then proceed to Sonprayag by Local Jeep. The vehicles wait for you in Sonprayag Car Parking and you’ll drive to your hotel (Sitapur)/Guptkashi.

Breakfast and Lunch on your own.

Dinner and Overnight at Rampur /Sitapur/Guptkashi. (D)

Day 09: Sitapur/Guptkashi – Joshimath – Badrinath (240 Kms / 8to 9 hrs)

This morning, you check out of the hotel  and drive to Badrinath via Joshimath. After driving through some wonderful Ghat road you arrive at Badrinath. On arrival check into the hotel. After some rest and refreshments you are all set to go to Badrinath Temple for darshan in the evening. But first you have to go to Tapt Kund (Hot Spring), take bath and then go to the temple. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the temple of Shri Badrinath Ji is 15 meters in height, built in the form of a cone with a small cupola of a gilt bull and spire. Lunch on your own. Later back to hotel.

Badrinath:

Badrinath or Badrinarayan Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Vishnu which is situated in the town of Badrinath in Uttarakhand, India. The temple and town form one of the four Char Dham and Chota Char Dham pilgrimage sites.

Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 10: Badrinath – Joshimath – Rudraprayag – Srinagar (185 Kms/7 to 8 hrs)

This morning, go for Badrinath darshan. After darshan return back to hotel, breakfast at hotel and proceed for Badrinath local sightseeing visit Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and Mata Murti temple. Afternoon driver back to Srinagar via Karanprayag & Rudraprayag. Rudraprayag is a small pilgrim town on the holy confluence of river Alaknanda and Mandakini. On arrival check in at hotel.

Lunch on your own.

Badrinath:

Mana Village:

Mana is a village in the district of Chamoli in the Indian state of Uttarakhand, located at an altitude of 3,200 meters. Mana is the last Indian village situated at Indo-China Border.

Vyas Gufa: At a distance of 5.5 Km from Badrinath Bus Stand, Vyas Gufa is an ancient cave located on the banks of Saraswati River at Mana Village in the Chamoli District of Uttarakhand. Vyas Gufa is believed to be the place where sage Vyas composed the Mahabharata epic with the help of Lord Ganesha.A distinct feature of the temple is the roof which resembles the pages from the collection of his holy scripts.

Day 11: Srinagar – Devprayag – Rishikesh (145 Km / 5 to 6 hrs)

Morning after breakfast at hotel, and you are on your last lap of this Dodham (Kedarnath & Badrinath) journey. Drive to Rishikesh. On arrival check in at the Hotel. Late afternoon visit Geeta Ashram, Parmartha Ashram and Bhoothnath Mandir. Lunch on your own.

Dinner and Overnight stay at the Hotel.   

Day 12: Leave Rishikesh          

In time transfer to the Airport/Railway station to connect your Flight/Railway station to proceed for onward destination.
